Very average dark colour, I like this fairly simple, but pleasant enough red from Sicilia...what i was expecting with good price point to match - my style. Dark cherry and plum notes on nose and more so on palate with nice level of acid. Light bodied. Tasty. This wine will marry your red meat, veal, duck and of course curry. Nose is clean, medium, Dark purple, a little transparent. Nose: candied plums. Taste: bright acidity, slightly tart dark fruits, cherries, blueberries, plums. Nice balance, some simple, a bit of a short finish, could last a few years.with notes of fruit (rasin), spice and floral.Palate is sweet, medium acidity, medium body (light for Nero d'Avola), and medium tannins. Tannins are slightly above fruit character making the finish short. The bottle was just opened, hopefully with time or air they will length. Flavor intensity is medium and follows through with the nose, I very try hard to end the bottle. 50 pts.| Priority : ★

Nose is medium, with notes of fruit (rasin), spice and floral.Palate is dry, medium acidity, medium body (light for Nero d'Avola), and medium tannins. Tannins are slightly above fruit character making the finish short. The bottle was just opened, hopefully with time or air they will length. Flavor intensity is medium and follows through with the nose, based on the complexity of the nose this wine is good quality, I am not particularlly a fan of Nero d'Avola but this ones "fresh", lower fruited, while still grape specific character, I very much enjoy specially for itd price. 70 pts.| Priority : ★★
