Very average dark colour, I like this fairly simple, but pleasant enough red from Puglia. Dark cherry and plum notes on nose and more so on palate with nice level of acid. Light bodied. Tasty. This wine will marry your red meat, veal, duck and of course pasta. Good enough and good price as well.70 pts.| Priority : ★★

Very good fruity smell. Smooth drinking with complex flavors. A little light, but overall a really good wine. Pleasant enough red from Puglia. Dark cherry and plum notes on nose and more so on palate with nice level of acid. Light bodied. Tasty. Dark ruby color. Nose: ripe plum and blackcurrant, mocha, anise, and a little vanilla-laced charred oak. Medium/full body on the palate: recapitulation of the plum and blackcurrant with mocha, graphite, anise, and some black olive. Solid acidity. Moderate dusty tannins. Lingering sweet graphite, peppercorn, and dry earth on the moderate/long finish. Really delicious stuff. Excellent balance with good structure. Drinks much classier than I had anticipated. Awesome value..80 pts.| Priority : ★★★
