CASA MADERO
Appellation
Variety 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
Producer (Winery) Casa Madero
Region Mexico
Sub-Region; Coahuila, Valle de Parras
Harvest (Vintage) 2007
The bottle is at top form, shows a mildly aromatic nose with raspberries, blueberries and red currant, with a very pronounced vanilla aroma and hints of tobacco. On mouth it feels slightly tannic, but complex and enjoyable nonetheless, with an oaky mid palate that shows some grafite. A wine to enjoy with food, a bit too harsh for solo drinking, should match well with grilled steaks and corpulent plates such as lamb, barbecue and smoked saussages or Mexican chorizos., In a word Is Good .80 pts.| Priority : ★★★

The nose displays dried fruit, a bit of vanilla, and a component that reminds me of Panettone. The palate is typical of an inexpensive table wine, but not offensive and quite serviceable. For the price, it delivers actually a bit more than expected. Drink now.60 pts.| Priority : ★
