Dry and pleasing. cherries, spicy black pepper, must, and maybe just a tiny dash of licorice; cherries, vegetal, and oak lead the way to a tannic finish; mouth drying medium finish. licorice, mostly covered up by the peppery spiciness and the sour cherry. Notes of rosemary and red pepper with chocolate and tobacco aromas. On the palate there is medium structure with pleasant acidity and juicy red fresh fruit at the finish. After fermentation 58% of the wine was aged in French Oak barrels to add an extra layer of complexity but keep the expression of the fruit.
